Where is the strangest place you have babysat?

I was just thinking about this while I'm waiting to go babysit. I work for a family a few times a week sometimes and sometimes I do babysit in their home. However, several weeks ago they decided that maybe we should try changing the settings a little bit and decided that maybe we should try going to stores and what not just to change the scenery. I have babysat at Target and at Barnes and Nobel bookstore. Today, I'm going to babysit at Barnes and Nobel once again. The boy I babysit gets to wander around the store and look at books and have me read things to him and just get out of the house while his parents look at books, shop and do whatever they have to do. So, I'm pretty much getting paid to shop! So, do you have a babysitting job like I do where you babysit in odd places or do you just babysit in homes?

I can't say it was strange but at a local public pool or park is a place different then home. At least your not stuck and they will be there if you have any questions that is good unless they are the type to run all over the store and can be quite loud and throw tantrums. Then it isn't so fun, Well, glad you are enjoying your babysitting job.

I wouldn't consider that really strange at all. My fiance's mother is a nanny and often times she will take the children to the dr. if they need it, and to other places also. I am not sure as to how many different places she's taken them before. I know that she went with her employer to a park so that she could watch the children while the mother got interviewed by a news station...

A blog of your adventures with him would be interesting. I've never actually babysat before but I don't think it would be so bad. And being able to meet the child in the store is pretty cool.

Interesting, you should start a blog of your adventures.
