Reach for the Stars

This was taken only shortly after I arrived in Calgary. Needless to say I feel in love with all it's beauty. That is no exception when it comes to their flowers and landscapes. Here is a picture I took of one of those flowers. If you perhaps know what type of flower this is your input would be greatly appreciated.

That is a nice picture that you have taken of the flower.
I'm not exactly sure of what kind of flower it is but it sure is pretty.
Have you tried to look up different kinds of flowers on the internet to see if you can match that one up with any of the ones on the internet?
I do hope you find out for that would be interesting. If you do find out please do let us know.

I will definitely try to find the flower. It will be hard though seeing as there is tons of flowers out there :) But when I find out rest assured you will all be the first to know :D (Next to me of course :P)

Very beautiful shot and flower as well.
I am no expert but it sort of looks like some type of Clematis possibly.
I am not positive but I have a purple Clematis anmd it looks like this shot somewhat. Thanks for sharing the beauty here as well. I lost all my photos of my various flowers I have in my garden beds all over my yard. I have Asian and Tiger Lilies, clematis, day lilies, Phloxx, and maybe 10 other varieties.
