Chan was born in 1954 in Victoria Peak, Hong Kong (then a British Overseas Territory), as Chan Kong Sang (meaning "born in [Hong] Kong") to Charles and Lee-Lee Chan, refugees from the Chinese Civil War. He was nicknamed Pao Pao (Chinese:??, literally meaning "Cannonball") because he was always rolling around as an infant.[3] Since his parents worked for the French Consul to Hong Kong, Chan spent his formative years within the grounds of the consul's residence in the Victoria Peak district.[4]

off course I know Jackie chan he is a legend and I rank higher then Jet li mostly because most or all the stunts he does is real and dosnt need special effects like jet li does which is why I really dont like him as much. My favorite movies of Jackie Chan are Rumble in the bronx and Rush Hour 2.

I like Jackie Chan very much. But i like the chinese productions more than the Us-productions.
The old classic Kung Fu movies were very good, some were more funny than his new movies. Drunken master, Master with broken hands and so on...Police Story movies...

Jackie Chan is very popular. He is a chinese actor, director and martial arts expert. He already done several hit movies that become a huge success in world theaters. He came from Hongkong. Some of his hit movies are the following:
1. Rush hour 1,2 and 3 (the rush hour 3 was shot in Paris, France)
2. Shanghai Knights (where he starred with Owen Wilson, some parts of the movie was shot in London and it featured Stonehenge, the spectacular pre-historic site located in Wlitshire, Salisbury plain, in England).
3. The First Strike

and many many more, he is a very talented actor who mostly done his death-defying stunts, he is perfect in executing his martial arts scene you will never get bored. His movies mostly are hilarious that make you laugh until the end.
