Listening to an Annoying friend

I have a friend like this... she complains to me all the time about stuff and sometimes it is too much to deal with.. i've got my own problems and things to worry about deal with... and with her its like almost a daily thing.. there is always something she can complain about.. so i'm always just so tired of hearing about it but i listen anyway because i love her. i just wish she wouldn't complain so much sometimes. life is hard and its not fair. everyone knows this.. i'm not too big a complainer myself too and i think thats why it might annoy me so much. lol
i might be thinking about my problems when shes trying to complain to me. and i can't listen and think at the same time.. at least not deep thought thinking..and thats when i get really annoyed at her.. she ends up getting mad at me too because i will just give short responses since i am not giving her my full attention. but she wants that too often and more often then i can give..

I will advice my problematic friend to join us "here".
I'm sure she would be glad turning her problems into
cash.

i think a conversation is needed, at least i should let her know what's on my mind and get to know what's on hers. yeah we want to act good and not let them down, but sooner or later we're gonna face it.

I love her to death but when she complains it is very difficult in learning how to help them so that their problems go away in order for them to heal and you to be able to move on with your issues.

I listen until they have nothing more to say and then they listen to me because they always want feedback or some advice.

I keep an open mind so that I can help them resolve the issue. To be perfectly honest it is better to have your friends come to you as much as they do because sometimes we are the only person they can talk to. Many of our friends can be estranged from their family or the problems they are having is with family. If they are unable to go to you, their friend, then they are vulnerable and are likely to make a decision that can be costly to themselves.

I think most people have a friend like this. My friend happens to make every bad decision possible and whines to me about it. Still, I try to help him by guiding him to the right decisions for which undoubtedly he will ignore. It is all the costs of choosing to remain friends. You either are friends and help no matter what, or cut em loose.

Look up some professional help and tell them to go there. Instead of sitting and listening, take them to go do something and then be like by I g2g.
