How often do you find yourself going over the speed limit?

I notice that most of the people that I talk to, including myself, seem to have a "five miles over the speed limit is okay," rule. 55MPH really means 60MPH, etc. But then some people push 60MPH to 65MPH, and the next thing you know, you are flying and have to slow down again! I tend to have this problem often. So, my question is, do you?

Oh yeah, most of the time I drive about 5 miles over the speed limit. The only problem that I have is when your going over the speed limit yourself and someone gets right on your tail end and you fell like you still need to speed up.

If I can, I try to move over and let them pass me. That way I do not feel the pressure from them and I do not have to worry about getting rear-ended if I must come to a sudden stop. It is too easy to go five miles over, almost natural. I find it hard to go 20 in school zones, too, unless I am behind someone. If I even put pressure on the gas I'm already going 25, but if I don't, I'm going 10!

I have to watch my speed when I'm driving. My job requires driving, and I could get in trouble, in more ways than one, if I get caught doing sometihng illegal or get in an accident that was my fault. Although, there are times when I do drive the 5 miles over, occasionally more.

That's understandable, and I definitely would not want to risk my job either over something like that. I am glad that you are responsible. ;D
