Lobster, are all lobsters created equal ?

I am living with my parents and so is one of my cousins, its lobstering season in Atlantic canada!! We have lobster almost every weekend because the cousin lobsters on weekends. I love it. We eat it on toast with mayo in a sandwich. I like it better this way cause i dont have to pull it out of the shell AS i'm eating it. My hubby asked my cousin if all lobsters look teh same no matter where they are caught, my cousin said they look different depending on where you catch them.. is this true!
