Do you have a swing at home?

In our olden days,there was a swing in almost everybodies home.It is not only used by the children to swing for joy,but also by the adults who use to swing and later sleep in it as well.Having a swing in the reception is a usual scene one can watch it in their grandpa's house.And that tradition has been replaced by swing chairs in the balcony,in the apartment style of residence now a days.Anyhow,I like to have a swing in my new built house as I now have no swing in my home at present.How do you like it?Any sweet memories?

when i was a kid i always want to have a swing in our own lot but we don't have enough space for the swing so i will just go to some playgrounds that has a swing and play there. now that i'm married i still wanted to have a swing in our yard for my soon to be kids.

My great grandmother had a porch swing, and oh how I loved it. I really want a porch swing for my front porch. I love the amished made ones, they are just beautiful. I remember sitting on my great grandmothers back porch and just smelling the sweet summer air, and looking out into the yard to the grape fines, and rock pond. Hopefully one day I will own a porch swing and be able to share memories like that with my daughter.

im from india nd i think ur also from india ,,,,,,,
i dont have a swing at my home ,,,,,coz now a days u dont have enough space in ur home to set up a swing in there nd also in this generation of playstations,i pods nd computers children,,,are more interested in getting there hands on these gizmos rather than swinging
