Do you own a mediclaim policy?

I like to bring awareness about mediclaim policies through this discussion.Well,due to my uncle's advice we started with a mediclaim policy for my parents and after some years,my mother met with an operation for umblical hernia,which costs more and the mediclaim policy gave a great hand by that time.Also in another year,my father had to undergo cataract operation and that also helped by mediclaim.No doubt,we should not have easily managed those two operations without mediclaim,as easy with it.Many people hesitate to consider mediclaim policy,since it dont pay back with cash,unlike other life insurance policies.But the value of it will be seen in the time of help.So,do you have one?If not,I ask you to take this as an advice.Thank you!
