At first I thought this was hilarious, especially when an Iraqi journalist/reporter, Muntadhar Al Zeidi, threw two shoes at President Bush, and dodged them, but at the same time, I have mixed feelings about this.
Bush must really have Iraq riled up a bit to have someone like Zeidi throw two shoes at him. From what i've heard on other news sites and on Youtube, throwing a shoe in Iraq is the equivalent of giving someone the finger, a.k.a. a f**k you gesture.
Now i'm an American, but I really have my doubts about this. There are a lot of people who support him, and a lot of people who are against him. It's perfectly understandable to fight back after the terrorists smashed the World Trade Center to a very big column of smoke, but to make people so angry that someone has to throw a shoe in order to get his/her point across...
If Bush messed up America and made the Iraqis angry, then maybe he does deserve it.
But then again, if you even attack someone with high authority, then it comes back to bite you in the butt in return, in the form of Zeidi's possible imprisonment, for example.
One thing's for sure: i'm glad that I didn't vote at all, and even if I did, I would've voted for either Al Gore (first term) or John Kerry (second term) if Bush was that bad of a President to leave a mess to clean up.
Here's the videos to prove it:

I strongly believe Bush deserved it but I feel bad for the Iraqi guy. Honesty doesn't always pay off in politics...
