The Monday that showed up on Wednesday (a post script to my flat tire)  

Geez you sure had a busy Monday. Yes I have had a Monday like that too. My dodge always had something wrong with it it seemed. Have a better week next week I hope Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I am glad that your bad day is over. Just drink a hot chocolate, put some comfy clothes and put your favourite movie on DVD. forget about this day. I hope you will feel better afterwards.

I am sure we have all had a mid-week Monday and I guess I have too many for even one to come to mind right now (it's too early for my brain to work that hard right now) haha
I am thinking this is the end of your bad luck, you have had more than your share. I am thinking your mom is still doing pretty good? Hopefully she will get to come home before long.

Have to go back to doing your own oil change jg. Let's hope they didn't overfill the tranny fluid. I have to question where did an entire quart disappear to? Trannys do not use oil like an engine can. And overfilling is very bad. Same with overfilling a crankcase. They don't sound very competent. Just to be safe i would check your own tranny fluid level. The procedure varies with different cars so check your owners manual or call your dealer, for advice.
Parking on level ground is important for the check though. Usually auto tranny fluid is checked with engine running, but there is a very specific procedure depending on car so must be followed to the letter. It is easy, but just must be followed properly.

I'd also check your own oil level in engine. Level ground, wait at least 15 minutes after turning engine off, after getting back from shopping trip. Pull, clean, reinsert, wait a moment, pull and check.

I don't let anybody TOUCH my car or bike. Haven't trusted those b*astards since similar experiences.
If you actually have or find a good and competent repair shop, they are like GOLD! And worth driving clear across the city for if necessary.

I hear ya... I've had whole weeks of Mondays sometimes. I've even had weekends so bad I'm looking forward to going to work to get away from everything else!

Jeez jerz, I hope the rest of your week goes better. Those mid-week Mondays are definitely the worst ones. I haven't had one recently, but I think I'm about due for one.

trouble with your car. That's so not what you needed after
all that you've been through. But, it sounds like your Mom
is doing better or at least I hope she is. That was just a
day that you didn't need to deal with, especially since you
know so much about cars yourself! I hope by now things are
all sorted out with the car and you were able to go see your
Mom and she is doing better and you can catch your breath!
I am still praying for her and sending positive thoughts your
way and I do hope that the next days to come will get easier
and you do get some kind of break soon because you surely do

Yikes....What a day you had...

I've been there done that...Always rains here then pours and then pours some more, just for good measure.....

I am so very glad it worked out the way it did and having the oil cap off didn't cause more damage...I feel for you having to buy the tire...but at least you know it is a good one...

Poor Jerz, I know you had a really really crappy day!! It sucks doesn't it? Like I had said in my email I think I would have personally "killed this man" for what he did and in your case "didn't do by making sure the oil cap was back on DUH!!!!

And with everything else you are dealing with, I know for sure I would've flipped
a "major nut" there..LOL!

Glad its all fixed, glad you are back on the road again (hopefully no more of those kinds of days), and YEP I have those Mid-week Monday's all the time eventually they all are going to find their way into my blog...(G)!
