Okay, I have a deadline for a client tomorrow and I am feeling really sleepy! I went to the kitchen and found out that I had run out of coffee! So the next best thing was I got a really cold glass of Iced tea. I think the sugar and the fact that it is really cold is keeping me a bit more awake now. Anyway, have you been in a similar situation? What do you do? Btw, I think I should stop mylotting for tonight so I can actually get some work done!

I always get into this kind of situation especially when the schedule of exams in school are getting near. I usually do nothing, im just thinking that i need to finish what i do even though im sleepy! I think that is self motivation. Its inspires me a lot to gave up when i am sleepy coz if i do i think that will cause a big and a lot of trouble. Lol!

How can anyone run out of coffee? That's terrible! I would go nuts if I was out of coffee. I live near one of the best coffee shops in the world, so it's not hard for me to replenish my stash when I need to. As well as my endless supply of coffee, I also have nice loud music playing in the background when I need to stay awake.

tea has more caffine that coffee any way... also you might try some protien and some fruit. a shower to wake you up, next I would say a bit of exercise like a brisk walk, jogging in place or stretching to get more oxygen to your mucsles. and last but not least.... take a vitamin! Thanks for the tips I took a shower about 3 hours ago so that is crossed off the list. The fruits that I have outside are bananas but they are still not ripe enough to eat. LOL. I did a few stretching exercises and feel a bit awake.

I have been in the similar situation many times to meet deadlines. For one, music keeps me alive, so if I'm sleepy I'd probably choose some fast paced music like Eurobeats to keep me moving. For two, I'd drink a cup of iced milk tea instead of coffee. For three, I'd go take a bath to refresh myself. Lastly, I have coffee candies on my desk, I'd fetch myself some of these coffee candies which is quite useful to keep me awake. ^^

I have a little advise that I've heard from a truck drivers. Most of the truck drivers will drive their truck across the night, since they have the schedule to catch. I wondering, what will they do when they are sleepy? the answer is a bucket of cold water. When they are sleepy, they just soaked their feet into a bucket of cold water. It will keep them up for whole night. Never ever washed you face with water when you are sleepy, the effect is for a short moment only. You will start to get back sleepy again when your face blown by a wind. BR.b

Apart from a bucket of cold water, truck drivers also use opium to drive away sleepiness. I have talked to several truck drivers and they all have told that they consume opium for being awake.

Just get and get to moving. I am like this every day. I live on about 3-4 hours a sleep a night and have to do everything by myself so I can';t sleep. With my husband out on the road about 3 weeks out of every month I have to do it all.

I'm currently feeling very sleepy and tired. Must be due to lack of sleep last night and also because I slept quite late. I was busy working on my own project. Gosh, I've done all I could today including drinking a cup of coffee, walking around the office, going to the toilet and back, chatting, posting articles in forum and mylot, writing blogs and replying on the comments, reading news and even watching online videos! Yet, I am still tired and I have a project to rush. Maybe I should go downstairs and do some window shopping at the shopping complex. Haha.
