DO you like weddings?

I don't get invited to often to wedding but every time this happens it is a reason for joy and also a problem. Going to weddings, if it is for all the family, is a very expensive thing. You have to give at least enough to pay for your meal and preferebly something else, or choosing a present for the newly married. The menu is never under 100€ per person plus any clothes you might need.

Sometimes people, especially family, make comments that are just sorta "fillers". Just something to take up space in time. Standing around waiting to kiss the bride or to get a piece of cake, you look around and there stands someone you know, so instead of just standing there like a lump, you make some sort of innoculus comment, never dreaming that the person spoken to is going to make something big out of it. Maybe the comment is seeking info about you, so what, you can just smile and change the topic if you don't want to tell them anything.
People 'fix' others up because they would like to help you find someone to share your life with.
Be easy my friend, this stuff isn't enough to have a stroke about.

I haven't been to very many but I did quite enjoy the ones I have attended. Receptions can be a bit long drawn out though. I suppose it's a darn sight better than going to a funeral.

With any occasion like this I feel a bit trapped and can't wait for it to finish so I can get away home. Not a very social person I'm afraid. These days most invitations are politely refused.

No I dont like going to weddings unless if I can miss work and its in another state and I get a little vacation from it but other then that I dont like weddings since weddings always make me depressed since I cant find a damn girlfriend lol. Im sure a lot if people get depressed at weddings.
