How can I increase my number of RSS subscribers?

I started a new blog about myLot 
and I need a lot of RSS subscribers so it seems like my blog is trusted and liked. I also only have 1 RSS subscriber on my other blog. The subscribe buttons are placed near the top and are very visible. What can I do to increase the number of RSS subscribers?

I think that is the hardest thing, to make sure you post only quality posts and that they are unique and interesting enough to hold the reader's attention. Well, thank you for your suggestions and I will definitely try to improve the quality and uniqueness of my posts!

perhaps you should compare his blog about mylot (especially the HOW-TO-page) with my blog.
And then you can answer me one question:
Are these unique posts or is this called plagiarism, stealing content from other websites?
Would you like to add such a blog to your rss feed when he is just copying from other pages?

Simple!
1. write quality post frequently and if possible update your blog daily.
2. Ask reader to comment and subscribe to your feed
3. Social Networking.. Know more friend from all over the world from places like mybloglog or blogcatalogue.
Give yourself a grace period of 3-6 months, you should see result.
All this need time, you just won't get instant result. So be patient and keep going!

Thank you for your very helpful advice! It was just what I needed! Simple, yet to the point. I found a lot of blogs talking about this but they were all talking about the same thing and were not very detailed about how to do it.
