Ever wonder where your friend requests come from?

Sometimes I also get friend request from people I don't know. Just because curious, I went to see their profile and look what makes he/she request to be my friend. In all cases so far, I found what makes us connected. It always because we respond to the same discussion, or he/she is the discussion started to what I respond to. As I remember, I never got any friend request from person coming from nowhere. Be cool, and if I was in your shoe, I will just add them. I see no harm in adding them in my friend list. Hi stinge, since I became member of my lot, I find it addictive that I kept logging in and out almost many times in a day just to response a little to discussion and sometimes post a discussion.Most of the time, I am only reading.In my reading many discussions, I've encountered that some members will be rejecting friends request from newbies less than 100 post,, that is why I am also careful. I make some request even if I don't participate in one of the discussion of that certain person's . That is if I could sense the kindness and sweetness of a person.As for now kindness even in words are my basis...Happy new year

it is good that you really investigate those who lodge a friend's request with you. one thing wrong with me is not investigating those who send me a friend's request. i just accept them. i feel it to be offensive if there is anyone that i reject. before, i had the habit of cleaning my friend's list. after havig learned that there are some around here who are off and on, i no longe bother doing this also. there are some people here whom i value. when i see them returning and then i have already deleted them from my friend's list, i feel sorry to have done it. so i just leave my friends list as it is. sometimes when i find time to check on my list, i take a look at everyone. there are a lot who are inactive. after all these years, they have never reached the 500 points mark. maybe i will have to have allowances for everyone. not all of us are so happy mylotting. some are just making a response or two in a week. there are some who make a post and leave it at that.

Yes it like this in mylot, i receive friends request everyday and i don't filter, i just accept it all even if i haven't chatted with or seen her name anywhere. Its going to be three years for me here in mylot and its still the same, as every time i log in i' ll will see friends request and i have never rejected any of them till now. I don't understand why they keep on adding as for me i don't care much about names in the friend's list all that matters is the kind of post they post and i reply to it even if they are not my friends or even if i haven't seen their Id before.

I got a bunch of friend request and I gather it is from reading my responses to other's persons just request because I don't write a bunch of discussions I am more a responder.

Well, I get the same think on Hi5 but I think that some people really are just searching 4 friends
