I started making money online in earnest at the top of the year. I've made just over $4,000 this year which I'm happy about. However, I sometimes question whether it's really worth it. I don't know. But it's something I question sometimes - maybe 'cos I feel I'm not doing what I'm meant to be doing with my life. What about you? How has the year been for you in terms of earning online? Do you think it's been worth the time and energy you've put in? Has it all been a distraction from what you REALLY want to be doing instead? Please share.

well I can say that I've done better then I thought I was going to. I managed to get about 100 in a month. I'm looking into more lucerative opertunities right now. This is because I've basicly been working for slave wage. That's like 8 dollars for like 5 to 6 hours of work. My pay also depends on the speed of the sites servers as well. I'm glad that you made so much money this year. I hope to be getting better too. I am going to try to keep writing so I can get better. I'm not that good with punctuation yet. I need refresher course or something. I'll work on it and find something to post about it later. I'm sure my writing will get better. It already has since I started posting on here. I find that it doesn't keep me from doing what I love. I'm an artist and that usually comes in spurts anyway. I can still take the time to do this when I want.

Hey, a 100 a month is something. $1200 a year. But, I hear you, it could be better. Your punctuation? What punctuation? I don't see too much of a problem with it. Take care. All the best this year, whatever you choose to do.

That is a massive amount of money to make online especially if you have a good offline job as well. I think it is worth it but I understand what you mean by maybe I am not doing what I am meant too as I reject social invitations sometimes to spend time working on my websites, blogs and writing sites. I am not sure it is worth it unless I start making as much money as you. At the minute I basically find there are just not enough hours in the day or I dont have enough brainpower to complete all my tasks.

Hi Heartbreaker08, Congrats on your new site! Hoe it goes well. Yes, I've made quite a bit and I'm proud of that. However, I think the New Year is making me question if I want to be doing the same thing next year. take care and more power to you in 2009.
