I don't mean what brand but what kind of meat and what type fixin's? I like the real hamburger, not the stuff with the fillers like you get at McDonald's and alot of restaurants. Nice and juicy and done but not over done. With some mustard and mayo. Tomato, no pickle or lettuce. Put on a hot patty these two ingredients are cooked immediately and something limpy lettuce and hot pickles just grosses me out. And, to me the adding touch is a sweet onion thinly sliced. That is a to die for hamburger. Now what about you folks? What type hamburger and fixin's is a must have for a delicious hamburger?

You must have read my mind, celticeagle! The reason I say this is because I had hamburgers on my mind earlier and was wondering how I could get a good discussion on them.
I do love hamburgers! I was asking myself which was the best hamburger I ever had. I narrowed it down to the famous White Tower Butter Bacon Burger in the #1 spot, and a good bowling alley burger in the #2 spot. I also prefer homemade burgers(preferably made from ground chuck or ground sirloin). All I need to add is mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onion. That is a great burger for me.

I so agree with you! And what is it about bowling alley burgers? They are always good at ever alley! Never had a bad one.

Yum you are making me very hungry for a hamburger. I like 100% beef and the fixin's are red onion, tomato, mustard, a little ketchup, pickles and sometimes lettuce. On occassion I will have a bacon cheeseburger with the above fixin's, but mostly have w/o cheese or bacon. I used to have mayo on my burger but have grown to dislike it on hamburgers. We have a place here where we live called smash burger and it is really good, I used to like red robin but think they are not as good as they used to b e
