Or are you just good at making them, like I am! Do you always make and break resolutions, do you always stick with them or do you not bother at all? Do you have any tips or tricks to share when it comes to sticking to your resolutions?
I usually come up with a few of the old stand bys like eating better and exercising more, but I've found that labeling them as New Years' resolutions just allows me to put them off until January. And even then I never seem to take them too seriously.

I might keep my New Years Resolution for about 12 minutes and then it is gone LOL. I have never really done a serious one but I have a few that I'm going to be working on this year with some self control issues I have, or should I say lack of self control.

Hello jesssp!
I stopped making New Year's resolutions long time ago. I am not really good at sticking to my resolutions. Oftentimes, I end up delaying them until I end up forgetting them. Before, I even tried writing them down and sticking it on my mirror just like what an expert once said on TV. But still, I was not successful at it. I just do things that I know I can. I work on the things that I would like to happen and know can happen based on available resources.

I think it's really better to just set realistic goals for yourself all through the year instead of setting huge ones at the end of the year. By the time Christmas and New Years' are over and January arrives most people are too beat to start a huge exercise regimen or stick to a strict diet.

I don't make New Year's resolutions so I don't have to stick to them :D You're right about "labeling them as New Year's resolutions" and ending up putting them off...I also don't like that which is why I usually just focus on one goal at a time and focus on it right when I decided to :D like losing weight. I'm under "strict" holiday diet right now. My goal is to stick with it through the whole month of January.
Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

hi i make the same resoulutions as u but always end up breaking them but i have changed my method now i make small resoulutions like eating half a choclate instead of the full that i gobble for a month and by the next month i just didnt feel like having the full bar... so slow and steady does win the race... hope it helps
