is downloading movies or other things through torrent good?

hi..!! i mean like is it gud to download things from torrent?? yeh it's true that with torrent we can download a lot of movies or serials or other stuffs..!! but do u think it is correct. let us consider a case of movie: the producer n other people like distributors etc. they spend so much money in making a movie.. n if a movie releases within few day's we can see it's torrent..!! so can u imagine how much loss they have to bear..!! cause many people will prefer to watch the movie through torrent rather than going to the movie theatre..!! so i wud like to know ur views about this thing..!!!
