My New Year Dilemma= Now Over!

"this too shall pass.." a myLotter gave me this advice just days ago when i started a discussion on me being alone on welcoming 2009. i was hit by this phrase, because that is what i really wanted to happen from the start.

after writing my "welcoming 2009 alone" i felt a lot better because of your advices. yeah im still lucky cause i have a job, i still have a complete and happy family, they are just an hour travel and things like that.

and then December 31st came.. in the morning, i was still good, actually i forgot that its the last day of 2008 and im alone. good sign. and then the night came(i work at night)before going to work, i called our house in Laguna and greeted my family "Happy New Year" (trying hard not to cry), i talked to all of them and they told me what they'll be having on the table. My favorite Filipino foods, lumpiang prito, ham, spaghetti, bread, rice, mechado and my ultimate fave - hot chocolate! I was so sad so I decided to end the call as soon as I can.

Im about to ride a taxi to go on my workplace. One thing kept bugging in my mind. I wanted to go home! just 3 hours away from 2009. i even told myself that my family is still important than money. Ending: Im now here in the office, working and myLotting! hehe. self-discipline!

anyways, I celebrated New Year here in the office, countdowns, fireworks outside but there's no food prepared for us by our bosses.:(

and now, Im a bit relieved because its over.. life must go on.. i will welcome 2009 with a bang and hardwork for my family so that in Christmas 2009 and New Year 2010, I will be celebrating with them again..
