Did you enjoy your new year's eve?

I didn't enjoy my new years eve at all. I thought I'll keep to home and probably check out a local function somewhere. But as it happened my locality was dead silent...There was no one on the streets. Forget about bonfires and stereos, there was pin drop silence. I got bored. What about you?

It is still New Year's Eve here. It is just like any other night of the year to me. When I was younger it was more special. And under the right kind of circumstances it could be special again. Tonight just like last year, I am staying home. If I was healthier and had a healthier car I would have gone out to my church where there is a Southern Gospel party going on tonight. They have one every night. I could have gotten a ride from someone but didn't know if I could sit there all evening in the uncomfortable chairs with my arthritis. I don't do well with my feet down for long periods of time and I didn't want to have to have anyone leave to bring me home early. Otherwise it is just another day.
