Where's the Fire?  

The local fireman station shops at a local grocery store all the time. My husband is the butcher. My husband knows them but I don't. One day I went up to the grocery store and they were on their way out. I asked if my kids could look at the fire truck. They were so kind and friendly. They let them touch the truck, sit in it, etc. But police, military, mailman, ups, trashman, etc, all those type of people, always wave at my kids, always friendly. The kids are so in awe.

A few days just before Christmas the fireman in our area get out and go up and down the street in the fire truck with one of the guy's dressed up as Santa and they hand out lollies to the kids, and you see all the little kids come running out of there houses and stand on the street waiting for him to come along because they can hear the siren coming and know that they are going to see Santa
