Well I do know what to do with it it. I guess I will love it and continue to care of it. You may ask what my growth is.
Well it is a baby but not the human kind. No I am not pregnant I have a rat terrier who loves to burrow. She loves to burrow under blankets when she is sleeping. Right now and most mornings she sits on my lap zipped in my bathrobe sleeping. So I feel like a have a growth on my lap, a living breathing, growth. I do not know what she will do when summer comes and I am wearing nothing but my swim suit. I will not let her burrow in that. heehee
What would you do if you had my growth?
Sometimes she sticks her head out of my robe and gives my husband a lick on the cheek when he bends down to kiss me goodbye. The first time she licked my husband he got a shock because he is not use to the pets showing affection towards him. I had to laugh because my new puppy did not know the rules of the house "Only mommy kisses daddy." heehee
Does you pets sit on your lap while you are on the computer?

What a sweet growth... i think if my daughter is that small... she would love to be tucked in my pocket... because it seems like she want to be always near me... and i loved it when i was pregnant with her... especially when she moves and kicks around my tummy... and now... she would always be on my lap whenever i am infront of the laptop... and acts like she is also typing...

I do not remember how old your daughter is. I know having children is great. I loved having my son and his girlfriend here because I got to talk to the baby in the womb. I got to feel him moving around and see him kick through her stomach. I do love him so much and he is not even born yet.

There's no way my dog could sit on my lap - ever! She's around 75 pounds... She does sit right behind my computer chair though and I run her over all the time when I stand up. You'd think she's learn!
Yours wont get too big so you shouldn't have much to worry about, other than trying to get into your bikini!

Oh Great! The new BETA thing is tedious, but I'm sure once they're done testing it they will pay regular prices for it.
And yes, Daisy will learn to stay out of the way, it'll just take a few toe-steppings...

good morning reiny. I wanted to tell you thank you for your advise and help with beta it works and I have been going back and forth there. I do a few get board and then go back when I have nothing better to do.
The problem I have is Daisy May has not learn to watch out for my feet. She likes to sit at my feet when I am cooking and I tend to trip over her. Petie has learned to watch out for my feet. I know Daisy will learn.

I am not a good lap person, so that role goes to my husband who can sit for hours with a cat in his lap. I am up and down to many times. We have large dogs so they are not lap animals, but usually are laying right at our feet. Every animal all four footed or two footed gets a lot of attention in our home.

I once experienced that with my kitten. It would not let me sleep. Don't worry, just let it be. It's fun to have them on our lap and it's nice to have them huddled with us. Don't you think?

I live with 30 cats and the (old lady cats), there are 4 of them, love to tuck me in at night when I am ready to sleep. I get into bed, pull the covers over me and then the old ladies jump up on the bed and with their front paws start tucking the blankets under me, all around me like a cocoon, their little paws going faster and faster, back and forth, tuck, tuck, tuck! I think they are having a tucking contest or something, ha ha ha! One started doing it about a year ago then two did it now all 4 do it. It's odd, only the old lady cats do it, WHY?? Then I have a cat (old female again), who gets behind me while I'm watching TV in my bed, and goes up and down real fast with her claws on my back, scratch, scratch, scratch! It feels so good, I trim the tips of her claws so she won't rip my back up! When she stops, I will take my hand up to my sholder and scratch a couple of times and she'll start up again, this keeps up for about a half an hour, it is so cute and feels so gooooood!
Rated! !
What a writer this person is. I loved the idea of the four cats tucking her in bed at night. It is like being tucked in bed by your mom.

Wow you are loved. Why do you live with 30 cats? Are you living in a cat rescue?
I have two cats and two dogs. The dogs sleep in their kennels and the cats sleep on the bed with my hubby and I we have a king bed so there is plenty of room

Hey tea! That is so cute! I think that is very sweet that
Daisy likes to cuddle with Mommy! Luna loves to sit in my
lap when I'm on the computer! This is something new! He is
almost 5 years old and now he has decided that he wants to
sit on Mommy's lap and hold my arm while I am trying to type!
He talks to me too! He is so cute! And his brother Star is
starting to want to take turns in my lap all of a sudden!
This is strange since neither one of them were ever lap cats
in the 5 years that I have them! Star is the lover cat. He
likes to sleep next to me in the bed, but boyfriend won't
let him so when bf leaves for work Star jumps into the bed
and holds Mommy! But, this new thing of lap sitting is really
strange for both of them!

They miss sleeping with mommy so they have to take the lap instead. We had a cat that could not tolerate not sleeping with mommy so I would have him sleep on the edge of the bed so he would not bather my hubby. If my chance he would forget and crawl between us my hubby would have a fit when he could not turn over because the cat was holding the blankets down. heehee
When that would happen I would wake up to a lot of cussing. Now we have two cats and my hubby lets one sleep at the head of the bed between us and the other one sleeps between his legs at night. What a change.

No. I have a rottweiler so my lap would be crushed if she tried sitting on me. She did sit on my lap when she was a puppy though.
