And in more ways than one! We had an awesome time AND we brought back twice as much money as we left with! We left our house around 8am, stopped in Deleware for breakfast and got to Bally's Casino around noon. Although I'm not much of a slot player, sometimes we do ok with them. I won $80 off of $20 in a machine right away!! After a while my husband went to play some "penny" slots and when he won $344 he realized it was a DOLLAR machine! Then he won another $84 on a machine. I wasn't doing very well so we went to my favorite - the Craps table. For some unknown reason, Bally's has taken some of it's Craps tables out. There was only one is Wild Wild West and probably only 5 in Ballys. Well, I found a good one and played for a couple hours on $100. I did a little better than break even. The table got cold really quick and EVERYONE left it at about the same time. Then I played Roulette for a while and lost, then went back to the craps table. OH MY GOSH! I have not been doing well when I roll, so I've been passing the dice when it's my turn. But, something made me take a turn, and MAN was that a GOOD thing!!! I made everyone (including me) a TON of money!!! We were over our break-even point for the day. I kept giving my husband my green ($25) chips and he really liked it when I gave him 2 at a time. Then, as it will happen, I sevened-out and it was the next rollers turn. A few people passed and a couple played. Some did ok, but it went quickly. Then the older man beside me got his turn and MAN!!! Oh, he rolled for LONGER than I did!!! We were rakin' it in!!! It was so much fun! We were joking around and collecting (green) chips!! Then, he sevened-out and it was my turn. I did horrible. The older man left and some young kids came up. Now, they did good too! I made some more money off them and it was just great. Well, the table went cold so we decided to get something to eat. It was now around 10:30pm and we were starving. Went to the "free" buffet, had dinner, then thought we'd try one more shot at the tables before we left. The young kids were back and they did ok, but it wasn't worth staying so we left. We got home around 2am, I dozed in and out most of the way, although I wanted to try to stay awake for my husband. All in all, it was a GREAT trip! We're putting the money back into the bank that we took out and we're stashing our winnings into savings for the next trip. Don't you with ALL gambling trips could be at least this good?

I am so glad you won. I have never played craps and do not understand it. I do like Keno but I have to study the numbers in order to see which ones come up the most then I play I have won some money but not much on Keno. I do not do well on the slot machines. I might as well as flush the money down the toilet. I am so glad it is May already. Heehee How as tax season?

Nah, I know you're having fun (and I am too!)... I used to be able to add very quickly in my head, but I'm way out of practice. Craps is easy because you just put money down and roll the dice, yell a little bit and you get a few chips back. I like the yelling part the best, I did a LOT of that last night!!!

What do you yell? Mama needs a new pair of socks? Or something like that?

I am through I will not say anymore of your trip, I think. I bet you can add in your head fast also. I go blank when it comes to adding quickly. I know how to add but you put me on the spot and I blank out.

Hey reiny! Now that sure is a good trip! I just don't know how you guys get that lucky! Those machines see me coming and they laugh! I put the money in and nothing comes back out until I have nothing left at all! I am not a big gambler as I have said before because I don't like to loose! I can't afford to lose or play so for me I guess it is not really fun! I have only been to Atlantic City to "play" just once and that was that! I had $60 with me and I came back with nothing! I did not know that I was going there because we were going somewhere else and just decided on the way back to go to AC. So I guess it was a good thing for me anyway! I would love to go again, but it would be the same thing! I don't have the money to lose and that's what you have to have in order to go and have fun!

This was definitely "extra" money we had - my bonus and birthday money. Usually we leave most, if not all, of our money there. Sometimes it goes quick, sometimes they tease it out of us slowly. Yesterday was a small pay-back for us and I'm hoping for MANY more!!

Sounds like you had a blast. I'm dying to go to the casino. I wish they could all be as good as your trip to Atlantic City. The last time we gambled was in Vegas and we about lost our boots, lol. I play mostly slots, and usually do quite well on them. I enjoy the older slots more than the newer ones, but everyplace seems to have the newer ones now. The most I ever won out of a slot machine was $2400. Not a bad payday, lol. We'll have to wait a while to go gambling again, as money is way to tight right now. Again glad you had such a great trip.

We were in Vegas over the summer and lost so bad we had like $20 for our last day there. We did one of those time-share tours and they gave us $50 in casino money. We won $400 in a penny slot machine off that and had fun (losing it) the rest of the day!
