Does anyone own Canon Rebel XSi? How good is it?

I have a 20D which is, by definition, a semi-pro camera. In many ways, the XSi (most of the world knows it as the 450D) is a better specified camera. There are few things that this so-called entry level DSLR can't handle, and in the couple of times I have had the pleasure of using one, I have been most impressed.

I've bought mine in March, and I'm very pleased with the image quality of this camera. Good definition, excellent sharpness, vivid colors, and the noise levels are relatively low, even at high ISO values. The 12,2 mpixels are great to get big prints! The XSI is small, and its body is well built.
The 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is very simple, small and light. Some people say it has a bad quality, but if you're leaving a point-and-shoot and you're entering in the DSLR world, you will be surprised with the image quality. The image stabilization is a big advantage, wich helps a lot in low light conditions. When shooting in manual mode, we have much confort. Without stop looking to the viewfinder, you can perform all the settings quickly using only your right hand. The numbers shown by the viewfinder (shutter speed, ISO, aperture...) are large and yellow, ease to see.
The battery is incredible, having a big capacity. I can take about 600 photos with one charge! The equipment uses SD cards, good for those who already has a point-and-shoot and wants to share the card with the XSI.
I really recommend this cammera, it's a great value for money!
