Family Feud ... Well Almost!

Happy New Year 2009 to you and your family too!!

Now, now, now, it's just a game afterall! Lol that sounds like more like a 'live or dead' situation to have a heated arguement over just a board game. Wahaha But, then come to think about it, I would love to be in a situation like that too as it shows the closeness of a family that I have never enjoyed before!

Well, I do not have a competitive family, maybe due to the reason that my family were never close. Basically, the word 'family' simply indicates that we are all living under one roof, but in reality we are virtually three strangers living in one house. We don't talk, we don't even eat together! Each of us are locked up in our own rooms, occupied with doing our own stuffs.

My brother is away in the army, and when he comes back during the weekends, he's locked up in his room. My mum is a religion nut and that is what she does every single day. And I? Well, I try to stay out and is hardly at home cause even my cousin's house seems more like a home than my own house*Shrugs*

So, I would love to be in situation like yours. Hehe at least it's a warm family than a cold one where everyone just lead their own lives.

don't worry about that,it happens to everybody.you still be a family no matter how bad the situation is. the fact is you will forgive them and they will forgive each other sooner or later,that's what a family do. just give yourself and others some time and they will all calm down later.let the bad memories be gone with wind.you just have faith in your family and your friends, they will get back to you.

my son just wants to win at all cost, he is not a good person to play a game with or even to have a conversation with.

No we are not to keen on Board Games, The Children prefer the PS2 lol well certainly my Son
The only Board Game I like is Monopoly and that is it lol

We are not competitive but we do play games when we are together. The trouble is my son is so smart he can win all of them hands down if they take thought and cunning. It is is chance or roll of the dice then someone else usually wins.

Welcome back to myLot. I had taken over a week off as well due to burnout here and just starting myLotting again Sunday. Anyhow my family is not the competitive type in games etc. We sit and play games fopr the fun and togetherness basically. We mostly play card games when we do games though. Sometimes we play video games when at my daughters but not too often as my wife and I are neither very adapt at those type of games. So no competitiveness here.

My fiance and I are competitive, but we haven't really played a game with anyone other then my mother in law. We've never been competitive when playing a board game with her, but when we're playing alone I tend to like to be very competitive. I will play until I win one game if I am on the losing streak of a specific game.

i always lose in my family and friends no matter what games we play.though i always consider it in healthy spirit and i enjoy it when i lose to them. the way i get criticised for my foul play sometimes makes me feel really great that they are not the ones who plays it that way. they always says that i can't play or do things correctly in my life and i am as usual never get serious about the remarks.
we play quite a few board games at home. one of them is ludo and the other one is carom. these two are very different from each other though. butthe players get involved a lot in these. so naturally arguments and comments go by side to side with the game playing. no matter who ever wins its all in the family...:)

well,just a game.do not use to take more serious about it.when you stay with your family.the warm and the harmony is the most important.do not use to take care ofany other things which effect your atmosphere.and you will have a good time.

We always have game night at my sister in law's house every Saturday night. It's usually a lot of fun. We've all been on the hunt for different board games to buy and play. Unfortunately for me (because I have to live with the guy) hubby is usually the one to win most of the games. And boy is he impossible to live with then too. LOL! My sister in law is the one that gets ticked if she loses. She's usually the first to lose in games that gradually weed people out until 2 players are left in the game. She starts telling everyone that they 'bite', etc. Of course she's had a few shots of rum by that time, and it makes it all the more hilarious to the rest of us. We haven't had a feud though....yet.
