Bottled Water.

Ten years back if some body had told me that I would have to pay money for drinking water, I would have called him nuts. Even five years back when some of my friends changed their water from Municipal water sources to bottled water, I made fun of them. But for the last three years, I am forced to buy Kinley (a coco cola Product) or Aqua fina (a Pepsi product), because of my health as well as the municipal water tastes so bad, that no body in my house are drinking it.So now I spend nearly $20 to $30,every month on these so called Mineral Water. Has this happened to any of you.

I would still say it’s a waste of money to buy bottled water. If you have overhead tank and tap water in your house, you can always install a water purifier which would give you clean water. Other than that, you can always use mild chlorine drop (we have Zeoline here) to use in stored water to make it safe for drinking.

Thanks for the response sudipta, but the problem is, I have become used to the taste of the bottled water, and now a days I cannot stand the taste of the Municipal water which is supplied in Chennai. I have also tried to use a water filter but with the same result.
