What to cook for a fussy eater?

I moved in with my boyfriend, and although we're not completely in yet, and are at the point where we're still eating out a lot, I will eventually have to cook for him, but I have a small problem... He's such a picky eater! His list of dislikes: -Onions -Mushrooms -Seafood or Fish (which is fine, because I don't like it either) -Salads (any type really, nothing with lettuce) -Most veggies, especially peas (exempting corn, baby corn and carrots, some peppers) -Olives -Most nuts (except peanuts) -steak -A lot of pork -Jam, although he likes Jelly (nothing with seeds) He loves spaghetti, tacos, potatoes, chicken, hamburgers, mac and cheese, bacon, noodles and turkey and cheese sandwiches (no kidding, it is literally turkey, cheese, pickles and condiments). I love pasta, so I make it a lot, but I want some OTHER ideas, especially for healthier things since we both need to start eating better (especially him!). Thanks!

Good luck hon. I wouldn't know how to cook for a fussy eater. My guys eat everything and anything. My husband says if the dog won't eat it I may get concerned but till then No worries.

Well the grocery shopping trip last night went better than I thought it would. While there was a lot of lingering around crappy, convenience foods (think the kind of stuff your grandkids would go bananas over), I got him to agree to trying a new type of food (Indian), eating a veggie other than corn (green beans) and got him to buy a whole bunch of different fruits for his new juicer. I'm happy that the eating habits might change, although we do now have a box of Arrowroot cookies in the cupboard, pudding snacks and KD in the pantry and Pizza Pops in the freezer. *sigh*

haha... I have to laugh because your boyfriend is the same as my hubby. Down to the exact thing, except my hubby likes salads. To be honest this is what I did when my hubby and I moved in together. I told him that he can eat what I make or he can go and make his own food or suffer. I know that sounds mean but the way I feel is that you can do so much. But if you don't mind cooking two different things for supper then make what you like and make what he likes that goes within the same category. But my hubby started liking steaks and pork chops and many of the other foods because I told him that I was going to be damned if I was going to make 2 different foods or even go without with what I like. But now he likes the food but then he said it is because I make it flavorery compared to his mom she didn't. But just hang in there things will fall into place. For like pork chops you could always do stuffed pork chops or even cut them into pieces and make stew. Try one of these he might just like it. I wish you luck. Happy Mylotting.

I only have one picky eater. That would be my 5 year old daughter. And there, nothing that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich won't fix. You may find some help here: http://www.pickyeatingadults.com/
