Hi ekimflow, there surely would be some improvement for every new windows launching. I have been using vista since August last year when I got my laptop. Before this, I am used to window xp all the time. Once shifting to an unfamiliar one I feel rather handicapped and couldn’t manage to apply some of the new features which are fully different to those former one. Of course I have to take quite some time to accustom myself to these new features. Nowadays I could handle most of them easily and feel happy as well to use it, so I’m definitely not going to shift to any other new windows anymore, no matter how good it is. Thanks for sharing this information with us here. Lol or might be I would like to try it when I feel bored with my current one. Happy posting and have a great day.

I just got a new computer and it has Vista on it. I'm just getting used to having Vista. I don't think I will get any new one for a while.

I'm looking forward to Windows 7. When the official beta release, I absolutely going to try it. If its run better than Vista I will switch to Windows 7 from my current operating system (Windows XP). Because I'm a gamer too and stayed with XP is not an option because if all new games will release with Direct X 10 support only. Then Windows 7 is the way to go.

I wanna try it and see it, but I'll stick with Windows XP. Upgrading is scary, I did the XP automatic update a few days ago, just the standard security updates, but it screwed up my whole computer and I couldn't log on...Well I could but it would immediately log off. Then I tried to repair windows, and it worked, but the image was doubled and pastel invert colors...So I had to reinstall windows fresh. Luckily I was able to save my files. So yeah I wanna see it, but I probably won't get.

Windows 7 has to be good because Microsoft is losing market share to Apple and Linux with their failing Windows Vista. True, a lot of people said that Vista is quite good but they have to remember that most corporate users do not have high tech computers which are needed to run Vista properly. As for home users, the Vista Home is very limiting and problematic even with the new patch. That's why Apple, with their Leopard operating system is gaining popularity each passing day. Windows 7 seriously has to be good. It's a do or die operating system for Windows now. And hopefully they do realize their mistakes with Vista (since they are coming out with a new operating system so fast).
