Hospital Throws Newborn Baby In Trash |
| |
| I couldn't believe this story when I heard it. Okay, in the past we have heard horror stories of how newborn babies are found in the trash somewhere as the mother didn't want the baby. But in this case it was a hospital that threw a baby out with the trash. Kalynn Moore gave birth to a baby at Christ Hospital in New Jersey...there are some conflicting stories whether the baby was stillborn or was actually born but then died some hours later. In any case the baby was supposed to be placed in the hospital's morgue until arrangements could be made for the baby's funeral, instead it was discovered that somehow the body of the baby was thrown in with the hospital trash. A search now is being made in all the landfills in New Jersey for the remains of the baby. But really, now....WTF??? For a woman to give birth to a baby, whether still born or alive but then dying a few hours later is devastating and traumatic as it is...but then to discover the friggin hospital threw the baby out like trash..what kind of morons are these? You can read an article about this here: http://www.foxnews.com/st... (Warning: This is NOT a referral link but a link to the article discussed here} I hope this woman sues the living daylights out of the hospital... | | | | | |

| | What a terrible and sad story. How can a hospital be so heartless and do something soooo terrible like that. The family is already grieving, and now they have to deal with this too! That goes to show you that hospitals are not as good as they use to be. Very sad ~ Shihtzumama | | | | | | |

| | Like geez,....no wonder many women are now opting to give birth at home and with a mid-wife...my great-grandmother who was a nurse was a mid-wife. Like I said hope that woman sues that hospital for all they are worth | | | |

| | I hope she does too! And I wish that people would stop giving home births and mid-wives such a bad reputation. Nothing is as bad as throwing a baby away....oh I get mad just thinking about it. | | | |

| | How sad, I saw that too on the news, they said the police are going to all the land fills and searching through all the garbage looking for the babies body. What might have happened was maybe after trying to work on the infant someone folded up all the sheets and linens from the work station and accidentally covered up the infant and all those bed linens went to the infected waste receptacle. Just trying to think how this could have happened. I hope they recover the infants body. | | | | | | |

| | What a nightmare. I agree, she needs to sue and she needs to win and win big. They also need to find out who it was that threw the baby away. This is so sad. Can you imagine what that family is going through. | | | | | | |

| | It had to be some sick individual because it is difficult to believe that the hospital itself did this. Still the hospital is at fault for letting any of their employees get away with such an action. I agree that the woman should sue the hospital and whatever individual who was responsible for the baby's body getting thrown in the trash should get fired. | | | | | | |

| | I would think a doctor or doctors were at fault to..or nurses as well...I mean weren't they keeping track of the baby after it was born???? | | | |
