My all time favorite song is "Drift Away" by the Doobie Brothers, it has been my fav since I was five years old, but don't go with the remix by Uncle Cracker - he ruined it. The Doobie Brothers is the best.
Second would have to be "If You Ever Believed" or "Believe" by Stevie Nicks. I'm not sure if I got the name right on that one (how embarrassing) but it is a great song. Stevie Nicks really is an icon especially for women!
Mostly I like the oldies when rock was young and passion ran wild through the music, it is so empowering and moving. Sorry, I go off on rampages sometimes...Anyway, great discussion!
