Does your dog eat pig's ears? and if so does the dog eat it very fast, have you ever had trouble with the dog digestion after eating that way? I'm unsure whether to let our dog eat them she eats it so fast.

I have had large dogs who eat pig's ears without any problems. Sometimes the ears seem rather large and the dog gets the ear stuck in its mouth, kind of like when eating peanut butter, but it's momentary and doesn't seem to present a problem to the dog.

Yes, my dogs eat them. I used to be very fearful of pig ears because the only ones I would see for purchase were the large ears so my husband would buy them & our stud practically would swallow it so most of the time he would swallow a large piece that he bit off then regurgitate it just to do the same thing again. Then, my mother-in-law found these thinly sliced ears that are PERFECT because when they bite it it breaks into pieces.

Thank you for this information, I usually only give her white hoof, but with that she breaks it into sharp pieces.

I don't have a dog but I know someone who gave pig's ears to their dog. The dog had frequent digestive problems because of it.

I gave my dog one, and he vomited it up. haven't given him another one since. He usually eats anything, he is so greedy.
