being happy with things happening in your life and yet being afraid too?

I think, sweetie1026, you are afraid to seize the moment! Grab it...hold on to it for all it's worth, and STOP the negativity, or you might turn a rainbow into a stone. Remember the expression, "it's better to have loved and lost, than never loved at all." My first thought is to caution you...get rid, no matter how hard of those negative thoughts, as you can dampen great spirits with negativity.

I don't think you should think and worry a lot over something that has not even come and in fact is not even sure to happen. You said something in your life has been wonderful and you are happy about it. So why worry? Why not just keep on doing your best to keep this wonderful thing in your life and then pray to God not to take this away from you. Why worry when you can pray? Remember that God holds the future and we must trust Him that what ever He'd give us in the future, it is always for our own good.

Also, remember that what we do today reflects our tomorrows. So if we do what is right each day expect your tomorrows to be right as well. Now of course, the Lord says in this life there will be tribulations...it is not always roses that we are gonna walk through. Sometimes even if we are doing what is right and striving hard to keep our life smooth, there still are thorns we have to walk through too. The trials and problems still do come our way. Those trials and problems are God's tools to mold us into better persons and for us to realize that we need Him after all. So if and when in the future...God takes away that wonderful thing that makes you really happy today, don't despair. Just trust that God has something better in store for you after removing that thing you already thought to be the best for you. On the other hand if things go as you wish then thank God for it. Just always remember that God knows that is the best for you. Just believe in God, entrust your whole life in Him and live life in accordance with His will. God is good and He knows how to reward His obedient children.

I am indeed happy for you. Being happy is really great. I also understand your fear. Well, you must remember that life is full of surprises and nothing is permanent in this world. But the thing is, you are happy right now, so enjoy the moment and feel great always. If you spend your time worrying, then you will certainly not enjoy. Just pray that everything will continue to be fine and have faith. I am sure that with such attitude, you will certainly be fine.
