1. Quit smoking. I have been trying to do this for years and has always been on the back burner.. Maybe this year... 2. Take another course in college. I have graduated last year but I am thinking of a french course for a second language. Since I work in home care with all types of languages. 3. Make money. I want to earn money. I need money. So this is a must. Get a job. 4. Pay off more debt. I have a lot of school bills. I must pay them down starting in a few months. 5. Travel. I want to go somewhere hot, swim in a ocean, and get away. But if I can't go to a ocean I want to travel back home and also go places close to hear that I have never been to. 6. See a concert. There are a few good music groups coming to town this new year so I think I will pick one and go with just a female friend. Have a girls day out. 7. Cut down on spending money where it doesn't need to be spent so I can afford the things I want to do. 8. Keep looking for a house. We have had bad luck with finding a house to buy. But we haven't given up yet. 9. Keep in touch with my family. I talk to my parents on a regular basis but I don't so much talk to uncles or cousins. Well now that I am away from home I think I need to start talking with them more. I miss them and I think its a good thing to do. Call at least once a month to keep in touch. Part of that before was I felt I had nothing good to say. But now I feel like things I say make them smile and proud of me. So it helps with my home sickness. What are you plans for the new year? Do you think you will be able to reach your goals? Have you given up on them yet? I think my quit smoking one will never happen. But its always at the top of my to do list.
