I sometimes get these annoying mails. They have nice thoughts or a different view of life written in great english, but at the end it'll be like:
If you forward this to 5 people, you'll have good luck in 20 days
If you forward this to 15 people, you'll have good luck the entire next week
If you forward this to 25+ people, this month will be filled with good luck.
If you dont forward this to your freinds, you'll have bad luck.
I'm not supersticious, but i dont like the idea of people cursing me, and i rarely open these kinds of mails.
Do you get them? What's your reaction?

Oh, don't even get me started on these chain mails!
I receive them often too and I get very annoyed because I KNOW that me just deleting them is neither here nor there, but that stupid little voice in my head tells me - "You don't want bad luck James, you'd better send it on!" lol. I would delete them without even reading them if the titles made hinted that it WAS a chain mail, but the titles rarely make this clear.

I know I know..!
Some one should write CM for chainmail in the title so that people who like it can read it, and other people can just delete it.
I read them sometimes, but i make sure i dont go all the way down.
Thanks for sharing your views. Its the same way i feel.
Happy mylotting.

I get emails like this very often. As you said, many of them start off with really nice and encouraging words but once you get to the end that's when the supersticious stuff begins. I am not at all superstitious, even so they can feel a little tempting and a little intimidating. Although i have never sent them on to the required number of people, I am always left with a slightly guilty feeling...I feel I am letting the friend down who sent it to me, because I am breaking the chain, and for a split second I wonder if bad luck could come to me for not passing it on...but that feeling only lasts a split second, thankfully. Nowadays when I receive such messages I feel appreciative for the first part, the nice and encouraging part, but as soon as I get to the bad luck part, I accidentally-on-purpose hit the delete button...ooops....and get on with my day, lol. Happy mylotting.

lol. I know what you mean. I feel the same. If my family or friends send me the Fwd, i keep wondering if they really expect me to send it back to them. Most of them have no personal message, so i just read the first part and never look at the last part, and never forward chain letter and fwds.
I dont delete them, i just keep them in the inbox.
I too wonder if its bad luck, good luck or any luck at all, but by the time i finish reading and replying to other emails, the fwd chain emails would have disappeared from my mind. I get so many, i just cant keep account of all of the bad luck that has befallen me.
Thanks for your time and share. Happy mylotting.

The threat at the end of the message spoils the good part. I don't know why you anyone has to threaten others for their messages to be forwarded. If it is worth passing at all, anybody who is blessed by it and is generous enough will share the message to any of his/her contacts.
So as much as I don't like being threatened and I know that many of my contacts feel the same, I ended up deleting these chain messages.

Yes, the "if you fwd..." part brings anxiety and some unrest to your mind. But for people who forward without reading too much into it, it's a good feeling. Most people who only use the net for checking emails just fwd it and feel glad something good may happen soon.
Deleting them and not thinking much about the threat is the best thing to do.
Thanks for your opinion. Happy mylotting

Well this is a mail that makes me tired. I dont believe in these but i see my friends forwarding this in fear and superstious. And make my mailbox full coz of these mails..

That's the best solution for the entire thing...! That sure will save trouble for the people you're forwarding them to :)
