ever tried solitaire using a real deck of cards? |
|
hi guys!
solitaire is one of the more interesting games included with Windows. i play solitaire whenever i'm bored at home (and if, for some reason, i get bored with my PC games. lol). however, during a vacation in 2005, i saw my grandmother's sister playing solitaire using a real deck of cards. but her solitaire is a bit different from the Windows version.
so i decided to try playing solitaire using a real deck of cards. since i only know the Windows version, i pattern my game to the Windows solitaire. and strangely, i found it fun and a great way to kill time.
how about you guys? have you ever tried solitaire using a real deck of cards?

3. teapotmommommerced (5724) | 11 months ago | I learned how to play solitaire using real cards before I even knew of such a thing as a computer. Did you know there are dozens of solitaire card games. Solitaire is just a word for a card game that you play by yourself.

5. dunebuggy (100) | 11 months ago | I used to play double solitaire with my dad. The two of you can choose any "version" of the game you want (we played with real cards) and you play face to face. Whatever cards you put up in the four piles --starting with an ace, you BOTH can play on. A lot of the times you both finish the game, so it's a matter of who is fastest! We enjoyed hours of this when I was a kid.

6. capirani (941) | 11 months ago | LOL. Considering the computer is younger than I am...at least the personal computer with all the games....of course I have played solitairre with real cards. I have played them that way ever since I was a child. It wasn't until I was past 40 that I had the opportunity to play solitairre on the computer. There are lots of ways to play solitairre and you can find them in actual real books that are not on the computer as well...although you can probably find the rules on the internet too. Everyone pretty much plays the games whatever way they were taught. When you are playing alone, it really doesn't matter if you follow the rules or make up your own. The way the game is played on the computer is basically the same as we played with real cards.

8. Yori88 (1318) | 11 months ago | Yes I have tried playing solitaire using real cards when I am not with the computer. When I was in the province and there are a lot of dead moments where I and my cousins are not doing anything we play cards. When they fell asleep I am left alone and I play solitaire. I love playing solitaire but I must say that it is very hard to win. It is a game that totally depends on chance not unless you cheat. I prefer playing it in a computer because I get tired opening each card in real game unless if I play it in a computer then everything is automatic. I have won many times in a game and I just love playing it over and over again.

10. coolcoder (1468) | 4 months ago | The only game of solitaire I know how to play is called "Four Kings," which is also known as Clockwork Solitaire. A friend of mine taught me how to play it several years ago, but I've only solved the thing roughly three or four times in that space of time. hehe It's fun trying, though.
