Last week a lady at 4am drove on my lawn and knockjed down my cherry trees and ruined my front yard. She was stuck and when she finally got loose she did not comto the door or anything she just took off. I did not call the police. Well today I saw her driving so I got her license plate number. I am going to report her, did I take too long? I know I should of called the police but my 17 yr d son begged me not to. he said Mom what would JESUS do? I told him JESUS would of called the police. After my son saw the yard he agreed we need to make a report. She is going to fix my yard even if I have to take her to Judge Judy! And it was dark but I got most of it on video. You can make out her car and see the directions of the headlights. I feel for her because sheays it was a accident but that is why we should have insurance on our automobiles. and if she did not to bad for her because it is the law! I forgot to mention she ran up on my lawn and she locked her keys in her car. So I do not know if she was high or drunk she said she was on her way to work. I call this hit and run because she killed my babies, we eat from those trees. They were mature cherry trees.

Think of it like this...what if it hadn't been your yard and trees...what if it had been your 17 year old son she mowed down and drove away from. It's not about her condition or the damages it's about she shouldn't be driving like that to begin with. Someone could be hurt or killed and she obviously doesn't have enough responsibility to own up to it. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I'm so very sorry that this woman did this to you. I laughed so hard though when I read what you wrote about Jesus would of called the police. I totally agree - you need to make a police report. If she does have insurance, it will cover your damages. Hopefully your trees will be ok, unless they're completely uprooted. Good luck, I hope you find out who she is so you can get restitution.

I couldn't help but laugh when you said jesus would have called the police. I would report her though. Something like that can happen again. What if there was someone walking on the side of the street? She could of got someone hurt or even killed. I would report it for her safety and for everyone else.
