Can you explain why this happens?

I just noticed that some of my responses get the same number when I respond twice under the same topic. Let's say under "relationships" when I answer to a certain discussion then the one who started that discussion replied, I make another reply. But I notice that the number beside my name on my 1st reply [example: Yori88 (332) ]is the same number on my second reply. Can anybody explain why that happens? Or am I correct to say that we are only allowed to respond "once" in each of the topics above? If the number beside my name which is not changing does not affect my earnings and my earnings will continue to rise then that is fine with me. Any comment?

You can respond as many times as you want but you are only credited once. Mylot started doing it about a year ago. When I first joined they credited every post but not no more.

Why did you close one to open another? My count did not increase so maybe it is a glitch on my account or something then.

mylot counts only one response for each discussion and even if you respond to that discussion 10 times ur number wont go up.. about the earnings i dont know as no one knows how much mylot pays for what.. it is their secret but all i know is mylot pays and is quite an honest site but i think they should increase umber but they dont.
