Your doc's app. is at 9am yet you're not seen until 9:45am, why?

I'm one of those people that needs to be early or I feel like I'm a bad person. My father was military, that's why. So, when I make an appointment at the doctor's offices, they tell me it's for so-and-so time. Great! I make it there at least 10 minutes prior. What does that get me? At least 30 minutes in the waitingroom with other sick and people. Then, ontop of that, I have to wait another 10-20 while in the examination room itself. I understand the doctors are busy and whatnot, but this discussion isn't to complain, just to give you heads up. When you're scheduled for a certain time, just remember that's not the time you're actually seen, just gives everyone else (but you) leway for other things to happen. *Pleiades

When i have a doctor's appointment i'm usually 10 minutes late. Even with that 10 minutes i still have to wait in the holding room for another 15 minutes more or less. Private offices seems to be the same even though there are less people in the holding room. Thanks for the heads up

Frustrating, isn't it? I suppose the reason we're not told of this for fear of everyone being late, eh? Thanks for responding and have a great week. *Pleiades
