grandchildren  | |  my husband & i can't stand it if we don't see our grandchildren. we have 2 grandson's ages 3 yrs & ll months. we live for these kids!!!!!!!!! they bring us so much joy & happiness. u r not hard on them like u were ur children. anyone else out there crazy over their grandchildren?

I do not have any grandchildren, but I do have a 2 1/2 year old that my parents have to see at least once a year. I live in Canada and they are out in Arizona. My daughter and I are actually going out to see them in April and my parents are SO excited. They will be coming out here in the summer to see her close to her birthday! Her birthday is in June, but they want to come in July this time because for her other birthdays in June it has been too cold for them!

Unfortunately, I only see them about twice a year because they don't live close to us. I can't stand it! Lucky for me they have plans to come and visit in a couple of weeks and I can't wait! My son and his girlfriend had a baby girl in January and I see her about twice a week. However, tomorrow will make a week since I saw her last and today I called my son and laughingly "guilt tripped" him about how I haven't seen her lately. lol Maybe tomorrow I'll get to see her!

| pamfloyd51 (92) | 9 months ago | i understand where u r coming from. my grandson is living with us right now & when him & his mom get a place i don't know what we will do. i wish u were in the same town as all of ur grandchildren. grandchildren give u something to look forward to. they luv u unconditionally. they r such a blessing from God!!!!!!!!!!! maybe when ur daughter's children get older, she will let them come & stay a few weeks with u in the summer. i know we can't go without seeing ours. | |

They live in the US and I live in Canada plus I have their only grandchild so I can only imagine how hard it must be for them! My daughter will be 3 next month, but they are going to be missing her party this year because I am expecting in October so they are going to come out around that time to meet their new grandchild! It really stinks that they only get to see their grandchild once or twice a year! | |
