PS3 (playstation 3) or Xbox ?? - difficult decision

I must say i have a fondness for the Playstation line of systems. If you go with the PS3 you can both play Blueray movies and play PS1 and PS2 games also. unlike with the XBox, the Playstation line is backwards compatible. To play an XBox game on the Xbox 360 you have to get XBox live first than download a way to play the games to your 360. So in my opinion, i would rather cut out all the extra steps to play my games, i just want to plug in and go. But i must say i like the fact that the XBox does not require a memory card to save the data. And from my knowledge being only from the original XBox, the ability to save movie data along with song tracks is a great advantage. For most of the XBox games you can edit your playlist to include music that you have uploaded, so for like racing games you can be chased by the cops while jamming to Slipknot or Creed or any other group you like. So to put it lightly they both have their advantages and disadvantages, i have to go with the PS3 out of personal preferance.

hey man, it all depends..if you wanna play a lot of titles now only and is planning to buy a new system in less than 2yrs go for xbox 360.cos xbox is having a lot of collections.But if you wanna make ur system future proof try ps3.cos its the best gaming machine ever and programmers are yet to take full advantage of the system..

I personally havent been phased by this PS3 craze sorta thing. Hvaent got one, and Dont really intend to buy one, would like one, but not bothered....I actually enjoy the Xbobxm mreally good Games Like Halo and Halo Warsand so on....so Im happy with what I got...
