Did you cry when Dumbledore died?

`ya i will not cry but i will get sad because i like the g'y man dumbledore he supports harry very much and also protects harry from voldermort so ya lastly i will not happy if dumdledore dies

I did not cry, but i was in a state of shock. I keep mumbling to myself over and over, "I cannot believe she killed Dumbledore!" Hubby was like wondering why I look shell-shocked when I was reading that part.

I was still hoping that he would somehow be alive at the end of the series, but I finally accepted that death is part of being alive. That its part of Harry's lessons in growing up to lose his greatest mentor. Still, I was sad that he died, since he is such a beloved character.

I weeped like a baby! It caught me totally by surprise. I absolutely loved the character and thought he would be there til the end of the series. I just kept thinking.. na it'll turn out to be a dream or he'll be able to come back somehow. But going to JK Rowlings website she confirmed that he was really dead and not coming back. So no, you're not alone in your "over-reacting"! I also cried at the funeral.

I love the Harry Potter series too. Even if I am already shall I say more than twenty years of age. I still read the books and watched their movies. When I read the book when Dumbledore died, I didn't cried, I just felt sad. Sad because Dumbledore is a very important character and a big help to Harry. He is one of the protector of Harry's life. He saved Harry for many instances when the dark force wants his death. I was wondering while reading those part if who will be Harry's defendor then after Dumbledore's death.

Well..I did cry to be honest( and I am a guy) but it would had probably been worse, if it wasn't for the fact that I cheated ahead, and looked at the titles of the chapters before I read it, then I had a good idea of what was going to happen.

Nah...For I believe that he is not finished yet...

i did not cry...hahahaha but i feelin so sad for that section.. but my other feelin have the other reaction, i knw something wrong behind the dead of albus dumbledore. I believe that severus snape wasnt the enemy. Dumbledore believe the snape since he repent and also i believe that snape would not duin the wrong action. and we knw the answer bout the dead of dumbledore in the last book of Harry Potter..Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow..happy read it

I didn't cry but I did get teary. I almost broke down crying when Dobby died though (I am with Hermione and SPEW)

I cried when i read the 5th, 6th, and 7th. I love reading the series and I love the characters in the book. So when they died i cried because i was going to miss them.

I really love Harry Potter series.When JK·Rowling said sb. will die in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,I never think the man is Dumbledore.
There is no doubt that I cried,like a child.Dumbledore is a wise man,he is also
lovable,he devoted all his life to Hogwarts and the conflict to Lord Voldemort.
And Harry grown up gradually under Dumbledore's help.
I feel so sad that whenever I read Dumbledore's death.The same to Rieru08.
