If you are given $10 billion dollars, but you cant spend it,.!!

Well, first of all, since that money is given to me, it means that the 10 billion dollars are mine.

So I can't spend it nor use it. But it's mine.

What I'd do: invest! I'm worth 10 billion dollars. I'll invest and get loans. As a collateral, I'd use my room of glass!

It's actually what money is. A country has x amount of gold (or any other valuable assets), converted into money ($) value. Then, the Government will print out pieces of paper and coins and will assign a value to it and distribute that to its citizens. It would never use its gold (or any other valuable assets) to buy but the value assign to it will be used as exchange. Those assets are kept in a safe just like my 10 billion dollars in a room of glass.

So if I had 10 billion dollars in a glass room, then I can buy anything for 10 billion dollars in value! I'd make returns on my investments and I'd spend those returns.

In the end, I'd have 10 billion dollars in a room of glass (untouchable) + 10 billion dollars value in investment + returns on my investment!

Oh I feel filthy rich! hehehehehhe

Honestly, I would take 2-3 million for me, another 2-3 million for each of my family and put it in a bank acocunt. At 5 percent interest we would all make more than enough to live off of. The rest, I would maybe buy a large large peice of land and make it a park.
