How did you celebrate Martin Luther King's Birthday?

Some people had the day off work for MLK's birthday today. How did you celebrate? As for me I was just happy to have the day off work. I didn't go anywhere, just hung around the house. I did get a little housework done that I put off this weekend but nothing major going on here. What did you do (if anything) to celebrate this holiday?

I don't really celebrate any holidays, and since I am not american it is not martin luther king Jr. day here in canada, so it was a day like any other for me.

Yeah, although a holiday here, I didn't do anything to celebrate. I think we should have holidays for other things before this one. Shoot lots of people don't get off work for Veteran's Day or Memorial Day here. To me, these days should be official holidays...much more meaningful to all Americans.

By doing nothing, just an entire day of doing nothing.. I didn't just stay in bed or anything like that, but I didn't do anything that even resembled responsibility.. I enjoyed an entire day of resting, playing on the computer and shopping, no buying, just shopping.. Today could have been named after me and we could have all been lazy..

I'm glad you enjoyed your day! We all need those kind of "doing nothing" days every now and then!
