I am having an operation on my jaw in March this year, because i have an over bite, the docters will break my jaw and move it into place and keep it there by using matal plates.
I am really scared that some thing is going to go wrong i will be under anastheitc. Is there any one who has had a similar operation to give me any advice.
Please help.

Have you tried first to see an ostheopath? My jaw was crooked because of an accident and I refused to have it operated on..so I was suffering for years until I found my oshteopath who after 6 treatments put my jaw back where it should be.
Always see a second opinion before getting operated. If there is no alternative then get it done.
Is it that bad your over bite that you can't live with it? Well, if your under anesthetic you won't know will you if something goes wrong..ouchh my jaw is sore just thinking about it. You will be in alot of pain afterward for sure.
