Catcher in the Rye= "EMO" BOOK???? | | They say the book is more of "EMO" fad...as the "EMO" started to exist because of this. The main character expressed so much grieve on the world and regret...as if pity is always his companion. I read the book, it's pretty good though. What do you think?

I am not so sure of it being an emo fad, as while he seems to have a lot of grief, he also seems to be jaded, and disconcerned with a lot that is happening around him.
