would you react from what you had posted if your conscience is clean?

I just responded a discussion submitted by one of our friends here on mylot. The topic he/she posted intended to some of our friends who use some illegal technics and strategies that we can say a little of cheating. Anyways, in my response on that topic he/she posted I was using YOU referring to those cheaters not for him/her. On the other thought, I answer her/his discussion not a private message intended to her/him. I replied his/her discussion posted commonly to all mylotters,and I replied it also to all mylotters hoping there would have cheaters who could read my reply.
I got a message from him/her just now telling me that, It was not him/her what she/he meant on his/her topic. She/he acted on the pronoun YOU I used. She/He thought the YOU I used was intentionally for him/her.
I had this question and I need an honest answer; WOULD YOU REACT FROM WHAT YOU POSTED IF YOUR CONSCIENCE IS CLEAN?

never use you, here on mylot is is considered you are talking to the person you are posting to when you say you,
that is the best way to avoid misunderstandings.

Sometimes we will be thrown into situations were our conscience isclear but there will not be any use of reacting because the opponent will be adamant and will not hear any suggestions. In such situations it is better to keep silence rather than react. But if the person is ready to hear and ready to accept his/her mistake, then you should try a bit.

Yes I understand that. Sometimes I would just be frustrating. You tried to answer some discussions without malice and then you never thought the person concern (the author) misunderstood you. Anyway, that's natural I think it's because we can't please all people here..thanks for your share..cheers
