Okay so I bought a box of cookies and my daughters asked me for one as soon as it was out of the bag. I took one out and my daughter looked from me, to the bag, to the cookie I had given her. And she said this: "Mommy, I want a cookie like theo ne in the picture."
She was refering to the fact that on the cookie bag was a cookie that was at least twice the size of the one that I pulled out. Now how on earth do you explain to a three year old, that the picture is bigger than the real cookie because they want to sell more? I tried to do this and although she accepted that she was not going to get a bigger cookie she was still bitterly dissapointed.I hate it when advertizements make their prodcts look amazing but when you get the real thing, it looks almost nothing like what you thought you were going to get. Have you ever had this happen to you before? What did you do?
