Okay most of us have transportation. In many places it's is really needed and a must have. In some places their is other transport for people. That's what I'd like to know. What do you have in transposrtation.
Also what do you have a boat, rv, or an atv to use?
Us we have 2 trucks and a car to get us around town and whereever else we may need to go.
We also have a rv, which we haven't used for a long time. My hubby is gone most of the time and I haven't take n for a solo run in even longer, lol.
We do have a couple of boats...nothing much most would call them ski boats. Our son has a bass boat and atv's he uses.
I haven't been out on a boat in a long time either. The children have but not me.
So how about you? What do you have and what do you do?
Thanks for resonses.

It's the oposite here, diesel is much more. It didn't use to be before the high prices were inplimented. But they went up then and just didn't go down enough after the prices went down.
I'd love to have an electric scooter or a moped. Thank you for responding.

Well since diesel is extensively used for tractors used by farmers and they are a big vote bank so govt subsidies it a lot. As of today diesel costs 30rs a liter as compared to petrol which is 40 rs a liter and ofcourse diesel vehicles though heavy and little more noisy they give better mileage than petrol ones per liter.

From 87 to 08 I had trucks. I loved my trucks. But then gas hit over $4 a gallon and I sold my truck to get a more economical car. It's o.k. It gets me where I'm going, but it won't haul gravel, hay, furniture. Now I have to get someone else to do that for me, or at least lend me their truck.

aaaah Katie I know how you feel. I have trucks as well. The one that was the worse during that time is my F-250 V10, it's a 4x4 with two seats in it. A hue truck. I found that when I went to get the fuel ingection cleaned out (cost $20) and that put my truck in the state that it was in when it was new...getting much better gas mileage. I was so grateful as this is my truck and what I use. Our son has an F-150 and my husband has a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 dual seats V8.
I also have a Kia Sportage but my daughter has been using it for about a year from her having her van broke down.
I thought it was best to keep my truck and hang in there that the gas would go down in price. But if I got another vehicle then it would cost more than the extra cost of gas per month.
I was thankful for the drop of prices and still am. I'm sorry that you had to change fro having your truck. They are just too handy and worth the extra price of gas to have one. Thank you for sharing.

I do have a car as a means of transport. My wife has also a car and as we have different working hours we need to have two separate cars. We do not own a boat. It might be affordable to buy but it is very espensive to upkeep.

That's one reason why I don't use them or the rv. People have no idea the cost in having or using them.

Hi Moondancer, I just have a family saloon car and no other form of transportation. I would love to have a boat as I live so close to the sea but not within my budget at present. I did start a boat fund and saved enough for a body board instead LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D

I have a small van.I don't have any other kind o of vehicle. Years ago we had a boat and I went fishing with my husband a few times. We would take the boat and go on the river until we came to a spot where we wanted to fish. After my husband passed away,I sold the boat.
