How many people still tolerate the antics of their dysfunctional relatives? You know the ones you dread calling but you call anyway, because you don't want to feel the wrath of their anger or Do you allow them in your home even though their bizzare behavior goes against your belief? Why do you tolerate your relatives? If you search the people who have made a great impact on your life, that's your family! So why do we tolerate such behaviors?

I use to try to avoid anybody that was stressful to be around cause I have a hard time dealing with stress. I'm trying to do better now. I've lost relatives that I wish I had tried harder to deal with. If the person still stresses me out too much then I guess I would avoid them as much as possible. Family is very important but maintaining mental health is also important.

You know I have been having an issue with my family and you know this is how I am viewing it. Life is not always a pie in the sky, sometimes family needs to express their feelings and some people do it better than others. My mom is a great woman but she has a temper and sometimes gets very angry and yells. It is a quailty of hers that I do not like but she has good quailities as well. I try to take the bitter with the sweet. I also feel we are given one family and family has always been very imporant to me so in the end even though I may not like thier actions I still love the person. Great discussion and happy mylotting to you.
