Have you heard of this brand of ice cream? They say it's a very innovative concept of eating ice cream... I haven't really tasted any of their products yet, but I'm interested. What makes Dippin' Dots so special? And is it worth the price? Discuss.

I've had them a few times before, and they're very tasty. They're like little drops of ice cream, and surprisingly they don't stick together (must be magic). I've seen them a lot of the time at zoos, and once at a big hotel I went to - they were serving them by the pool. I bought some from the store once, and they weren't nearly as good. They were all stuck together too...I think they have to be kept at extremely cool temperatures for that to happen though.

It IS magic. Hahaha. But seriously, is it possible that we can make our own Dippin' Dots ice cream? Just an experiment.

It is slightly gimmiky, but I personally actually like it. Also while I do not know how wide spread it is you can buy it in the grocery stores here. There is also a large carton that mimicks the litle ball effect made by popsicle brand. Dippin dots does melt, however unlike the popsicle brand it takes much longer to do so. Especially if you buy it from the dippin dots stands or other places than a store. They are produced and stored at -40degrees farenheit. I worked at a McDonald's that started selling them. We had to keep a special freezer because most do not go that cold. I really think they actually tast good, but in all honesty are probably not worth the high price beyond the first time to try them.

What? A McDonald's franchise actually sold them? What did they call it? McDippin, or something weirder?

HI MY DEAR FREIND, i have eaten that ice cream . infact, it was my hubby who bought that cup of small small balls of ice cream for me. i was quite surprised to see it. before that day, i have never seen such type of ice cream before. it wasn't that super tasty, if i remember it right and the place where the counter was opened, it is no more there. it is seen in the mallas, yes, but not in near by my area. it wasn't that sucess or liked , in right words, by the people here. and it was pretty expensive as compared to the other ones. so what's the fun.
